A complete transformation replacing an ageing timber deck with a bespoke softwood pergola, polished Raj Green paving, sandstone pillars and artificial grass to create a stunning outdoor entertaining space.
The existing raised timber deck had reached the end of its life and the homeowners wanted a modern outdoor space that could be enjoyed throughout the year.
We completely transformed the garden by removing the old decking and constructing a bespoke softwood pergola on sandstone pillar bases. The space was finished with polished Raj Green paving and artificial grass, creating a durable, low-maintenance entertaining area.

Every stage of this project was carefully planned and completed by the D&A team, from removing the original decking to creating the finished outdoor living space.
The original raised timber deck had reached the end of its life and was carefully dismantled...
Groundworks were completed to prepare the area for the new pergola, which included laying foundations for the sandstone pillars to support the posts and ensuring a level base for the paving.
The pergola was built using carefully selected timber with shaped decorative rafters, creating a feature that becomes the centrepiece of the garden.
After the base was prepared, the Raj Green paving was laid to create a durable and stylish surface that complements the pergola and overall design of the garden.
The final touches were added to complete the project, including the installation of lighting and the addition of decorative elements to enhance the overall aesthetic.
Whether you're planning a complete garden transformation, a bespoke pergola, new paving or custom joinery, we'd love to help bring your ideas to life.
